王柯平（Wang Keping）
个人简介
西安人，博士，中国社会科学院哲学研究所研究员，研究生院博士生导师，美学研究室主任。
社会兼职：现任国际美学协会（IAA）跨国执委，外国文论与比较诗学研究会副会长，中华美学学会常务理事；中华美学学会外国美学学术委员会副主任，曾任国际普世对话学会（ISUD）副会长(2010-2012)。
研究范围与研究方向：美学与古代哲学。
基本情况
1．教育背景
2010年，澳大利亚悉尼大学历史与哲学院访问教授。
2006年至今，希腊雅典大学奥林匹克哲学与文化中心荣誉研究员。
2000年, 英国牛津大学圣安妮学院／中国学术研究所访问研究员。
1998-1999年, 加拿大多伦多大学东亚学系高级访问学者，在哲学系主修古希腊语与柏拉图美学。
1992-1993年, 瑞士洛桑大学哲学系注册并选修艺术哲学博士课程。
1985年日本国际交流署国际交流中心主修国际旅游文化学。
1982.2－1983年12月澳大利亚堪培拉大学人文学院（获硕士学位）。
2001.9-2004年1月 北京师范大学文学院(获博士学位)。
1990-1991年北京语言学院法语系出国部进修法语。
1975－1979年北京第二外国语学院英语系主修英语语言文学。
2．工作经历
2004年5月至今任中国社会科学院哲学研究所研究员，历任研究生院哲学系教授、博士生导师，哲学研究所学术委员会委员，美学研究室副主任与主任。
1979年以来历任北京第二外国语学院教授，英语系副主任，跨文化研究所常务副所长、所长，跨文化研究院院长，校学术委员会委员。

10） 2010年7月2—7日在北京第二外国语学院组织举办国际普世对话学会第八届世界大会，主题为“文化间的对话：和平、正义与和谐”(Dialogue among Cultures: Peace, Justice and Harmony)，所提交和讲演的会议论文为《尚和文化中的和谐社会》(Harmonious Society in a Harmony-conscious Culture)。该学会会长在本届大会开幕式上授予本人“国际哲学对话杰出贡献雅克布森奖”（Jacobsen Award in the Recognition of Professor Wang Keping for Outstanding Contribution to the International Philosophical Dialogue）。该学会会员在2010年第八届世界大会闭幕时的换届选举中推选本人出任该学会副会长。

17） 2009年8月2－7应邀参加希腊雅典大学奥林匹克哲学与文化中心举办的第20届国际学术研讨会，主题为“希腊与欧洲传统中的启蒙思想”，个人提交和发言的论文为“柏拉图的摹仿论”。 雅典大学将本人的英文著作《中国文化精神》（Ethos of Chinese Culture）翻译成现代希腊文在雅典正式出版。奥林匹克哲学与文化中心在本届国际学术研讨会上为此书发行举办了发布会。

19） 2008年10月应邀访问澳大利亚悉尼大学哲学系并作讲演，题目为“仁政善治与实用理性”。
20） 2008年8月上旬应邀参加希腊雅典大学举办的第19届“东西方传统与全球化”国际学术研讨会，所提交的论文“善政与实用理性”作大会主题发言之一。该文修改后发表在希腊出版的国际会议论文集《政治、环境与生态》（2009）。奥林匹克哲学与文化中心将其主编的哲学与国际研究杂志《怀疑与探索》（Skepsis）2008年第19卷第1期“献给王柯平教授”（In Honour of Professor Keping Wang），撰文作者包括David E. Cooper, Myrto Dragona-Monachou, Eugenio Benitez, Christos C. Evangeliou, John P. Lizza, Robert Wilkinson, Kevin Brien，Jiyuan Yu, Eric Thomas Weber等，其中有一位美国学者撰文将我的一些论述与杜威的相关论述进行比较，其论文题目为《王柯平与杜威对领导力的教诲》（Lessons for Leadership from Keping and Dewey）。
21） 2008年7月下旬应邀参加在韩国首尔举办的第23届世界哲学大会，所提交的论文为“李泽厚的艺术积淀论”，并在4个场合讲演不同题目，包括“实用理性的基本特征”，“孔子的诗乐教育哲学”，“方东美的人文化成理想”，其中“李泽厚的艺术积淀论”被收入大会论文选集予以出版。国际普世对话学会于2008年首尔第23届世界哲学大会期间授予本人“对话哲学与和平杰出贡献”奖牌。

Wang Keping (Keping Wang, b.1955, M.A., Ph.D.) is a professor and director of the Institute for Transcultural Studies of Beijing International Studies University, fellow of
He has been a honorary member of the Olympic Center of Philosophy and Culture under the University of Athens since 2006. He was a visiting scholar at the Section of Philosophy in the University of Lausanne (1991-1992), a visiting fellow at the Department of Asian Studies of the University of Toronto (1998-1999)，a visiting fellow at St. Anne’s College of Oxford University (2000), a visiting professor at the School of Philosophical and Historical Inquiry of Sydney University (2010).
He was formerly vice president of International Society for Universal Dialogue (ISUD) from 2010 to 2012. He is newly elected as deputy at large of International Association of Aesthetics (IAA). He has been vice president of Chinese Society for Literary Theory and Comparative Poetics, and an executive committee member of Chinese Society for Aesthetics (CSA).
He was formerly the deputy dean of the English Department, and now is the director of the Institute for Transcultural Studies of Beijing International Studies University. He is also the head of the Section of Aesthetics in the
